St. Michael’s School is an Independent Catholic School set within beautiful grounds in Hampshire. We are looking for a qualified Maths teacher who can teach across Key Stage 3 and GCSE. We are offering the opportunity to work in an authentic Catholic environment and teach small classes of well-behaved students, which allows our staff to enjoy teaching and witness student progress in all areas of their formation. This role would be fixed term for a year initially, with the opportunity for a permanent post, and can be offered as either full or part time hours. To develop particular areas of the curriculum we are looking for a qualified teacher, or a teacher with a degree and some teaching experience, who can offer Art and/or Technical Drawing up to GCSE. Candidates who can also offer PE will be especially welcome, although this is not essential. We are offering the opportunity to teach in an authentic Catholic environment, not one that pays lip service to the Faith, as well as small class sizes of well-behaved students, allow staff to enjoy teaching and witness student progress in all areas of their formation. This role could be offered as either full or part time hours, and it comes with free daily lunch, access to the teachers’ pension scheme, a pleasant working environment and the opportunity to attend traditional sacraments within the working day.
