About Our School

Trinity Catholic College is a large co-educational Roman Catholic secondary school and sixth form in Middlesbrough, part of the Nicholas Postgate Catholic Academy Trust. Rooted in its Christian mission, its motto, “Follow Jesus, Build Families, Fulfil Potential,” reflects a strong emphasis on faith, community and enabling every student to thrive academically and personally. The school’s most recent full Ofsted inspection in November 2024 judged the quality of education to require improvement, while rating behaviour and attitudes, personal development, leadership and management, and sixth-form provision as good. Trinity Catholic College is part of the Nicholas Postgate Catholic Academy Trust, a family of 38 schools, and two vibrant Sixth Form Colleges. With more than 12,300 students and 1,500 staff, NPCAT is now one of the largest multi-academy Trusts in the UK. The Headteacher will promote and support the vision and direction of the school and the Trust by providing the day-to-day leadership that will enable the school to build success and provide high quality education for its children. The Headteacher leads and manages the school on a day-to-day basis and is the first point of contact for all stakeholders and external agencies in matters relating to the school. The Headteacher will be an ambassador for the school and will promote and raise its profile in the local and wider community.
