The Governors of St Thomas More Catholic Primary School are excited to invite applications for an inspirational and dedicated Head Teacher to join our community from 1^st September 2025.

Key Responsibilities

As Head Teacher, you will work with governors to shape the strategic direction of the school and lead the day-to-day management of our vibrant school. You will inspire a dedicated team committed to the best interests of our children and our community.

We are looking for someone who:

Is a practising Catholic who can nurture faith and spirituality, while providing inspirational Catholic education rooted in our shared Gospel values.
Is passionate about creating a child-centred vision for education and fostering an inclusive, aspirational and ambitious environment for all pupils and staff.
Will champion a broad and exciting curriculum that inspires both teachers and pupils.
Can build upon our strong foundation of academic achievement and demonstrate a successful track record of inspirational and strategic leadership.
Has a robust understanding of safeguarding practices and is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of every child.
Is a team leader with experience in coaching and mentoring, dedicated to maximising the potential of every child.
