About Our School
St Michael’s Catholic Grammar School is a selective, voluntary aided Roman Catholic secondary school for girls, with boys admitted into the sixth form, known for its strong academic tradition and emphasis on moral, social and spiritual development. Founded by the Sisters of the Poor Child Jesus, it retains a distinct Catholic ethos encapsulated in its Latin motto “Quis ut Deus” (“Who is like God?”), fostering a close-knit, respectful community with high expectations of behaviour and scholarship. Teacher of Economics
The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well-qualified graduate teacher of Economics to this selective school - FIVE times judged OUTSTANDING by OFSTED. The successful candidate will join a vibrant and thriving Social Sciences Department and will teach Year 12 and 13 A Level Economics. A Level Economics is well established and examination results are very good. This post would ideally suit someone passionate about their subject and eager to teach to the highest level. Students are highly-motivated and intelligent.
