EYFS Specialist Teaching AssistantGrade: Level BResponsible to: Class Teacher / EYFS Lead / Head TeacherJob PurposeTo work under the direction of the class teacher to support the learning, development and wellbeing of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Specialist SEND Teacher
The Governors of St Bernadette’s Catholic Primary School wish to appoint a specialist SEND teacher, to join our well-established SEND resource provision within our mainstream school. We are seeking a passionate and skilled SEND Specialist Teacher. This position is offered at 0.6 to full time, with flexibility to suit the right candidate. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive, well-resourced environment with small class sizes and a high ratio of adults to pupils, enabling truly individualised teaching and learning.About the RoleYou will lead teaching and learning within our SEND resource provision, supporting pupils with a diverse range of needs. Working alongside a highly experienced team of support staff, therapists, and wider school colleagues, you’ll deliver tailored learning experiences that enable every child to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
