Assistant Canteen Supervisor, 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday - 9am to 2pmTerm-time only - 39 weeks per yearUnified Reward Grade C(£30,630 to £31,074 FTE) – Actual salary £18,709 to £18,980 Required 1st September 2025 The Governors are seeking to appoint an Assistant Canteen Supervisor to support the Canteen Supervisor in the safe, efficient and professional operation of the School Canteen. This person will form part of a team of catering staff and will be expected to deputise for the Canteen Supervisor in potential times of absence. Ideally suited to this role would be someone with excellent communication skills and an enthusiastic outlook. The appointed person will assist in providing high quality, healthy food to our customers, primarily students but also staff, in accordance with strict time deadlines. Duties include operation of a Cashless Catering system and stock control. Duties also include canteen security and, on occasion, assisting with special events outside of usual working hours. St. Michael’s is a vibrant school with a distinctive Catholic ethos. Students at the school are very well behaved and the school is a very rewarding working environment. We wish to appoint a teacher of Science to work across KS3 and KS4 with the ability to teach Science to KS5.
- All Science Teachers are expected to be able to teach Biology, Chemistry and Science to KS4 standard
